Summary: H.P. Lovecraft was bound to touch upon the concept of an alien invasion. Seeing how he's the biggest misanthrope in all of science-fiction literature, of course it's rife with horrific beings, insanity, and futileness. Just the way he would like it. Though there is no racism here, at least.

History: Hailing from Pluto, the Mi-go are a race of bio-mechanical beings that plan on opening a wormhole from their world to Earth in order to instigate a takeover. They've already established a base in Vermont, and occasionally either kill people or lull them to their side. As one might guess, there's already a murderous cult based around them, and anyone who resists in in for death.

Notable Kills: One drops a girl from her plane and onto the ground below.

Final Fate: The main protagonist, shortly after the whole cult is screwed over, rams his plane into the wormhole, foiling the invasion. However, he's now a brain in a jar, and the Mi-Go are far from finished...

Powers/Abilities: Telepathy.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 3-The CGI is nothing to write home about. In fact, it contrasts with the b-movie aesthetic rather jarringly. Then again, these things are downright hideous to look at, and you'd better pray that they never get their talons on your brain. Lest you spend your life as a test subject forever.

Trivia: -Originally, the Mi-Go were winged and could fly through the aether of space. But this was rather implausible, and that's how they got the helicopter-packs in this film.

-Creatures inspired by the Mi-Go appear as enemies in the already huge Lovecraft love letter known as "Bloodborne". In it, they are malformed people that resemble humanoid flies/mosquitoes with bulbous heads, and are a result of the tampering of Byrgenwerth and the Great Ones.
